European Commission Launches Forced Labour Regulation Preparedness Package and Single Portal

The European Commission launched its Forced Labour Regulation preparedness package and a Single Portal on 30 June 2026, marking the start of the implementation period ahead of the Regulation's application from 14 December 2027. The portal consolidates implementation guidelines, investigation and enforcement procedures, risk-assessment tools, and OECD/UN-aligned due diligence guidance for companies, competent authorities and civil society, and is supported by a series of sector-specific webinars running from September through November 2026 covering textiles, solar, electronics, automotive, agri-food and fisheries.
